Renewables, systems and patience
A reflection on renewable energy from a systems perspective.

- systems
Thinking about renewables requires looking beyond individual technologies. A solar plant, a battery or a grid connection does not exist in isolation: each one belongs to a system with physical, economic, regulatory and human constraints.
That systems view asks for both ambition and patience. The energy transition needs speed, but it also needs robust decisions, careful integration and the ability to learn from each project.
Engineering contributes exactly that: turning a desirable direction into concrete solutions that work in the real world.
